Dr Bill Moreau

Dr. William Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM, has over four decades of clinical mastery in evidence-guided chiropractic sports medicine, illuminating a distinguished career path. Transitioning from a thriving private practice, Dr. Moreau assumed the helm as Director of Clinics at the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) in 2009. Over a decade, he spearheaded transformative initiatives to enhance medical care standards for athletes. He has now returned to private practice as the CEO of NeuroSport Spine and Concussion Center.
In a testament to his extraordinary leadership and impactful contributions, Dr. Moreau ascended to Vice President of Sports Medicine at the USOC in 2017. In this influential capacity, he orchestrated all sports medicine-related endeavors, including providing medical services at the Olympic/Paralympic Games and overseeing USOC Clinics. Dr. Moreau was pivotal in establishing the U.S. Coalition for the Prevention of Illness and Injury in Sport, recognized as one of only eleven IOC International Centers of Research Excellence.
Dr. Moreau's unwavering commitment to excellence in sports medicine extended to his pivotal roles as Team USA's Medical Director at the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. He etched his name in history as the singular Doctor of Chiropractic in the world to serve as an Olympic National Organizing Committee Chief Medical Officer for Team USA at the 2016 Rio Summer Games and the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea. In these esteemed positions, he orchestrated comprehensive medical service lines for Team USA athletes, ensuring their peak health and performance.
Furthermore, Dr. Moreau's expertise as a clinician-researcher has garnered international recognition, working with the NFL’s International Think Tank on Concussion Research and his appointments to the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) Medical Commission in 2017, Professor, Southern California University of Health Sciences and Distinguished Clinical Professor, Emeritus at the University of Western States. Dr. Moreau has produced 71 scientific research works that include six award-winning studies!
Beyond his professional accolades, Dr. Moreau is renowned for his dedication to advancing patient-centered, evidence-guided clinical care pathways through integrated multidisciplinary healthcare teams. His commitment to education shines through as an award-winning clinical researcher and his over 435 invited lectures across the globe.
Dr. Moreau's pioneering contributions to sports medicine have garnered widespread media acclaim, with features in prestigious peer-reviewed publications and media such as Bloomberg Businessweek, USA Today, TIME, and ESPN, alongside appearances on NPR, NBC, and Kaiser Health News.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Moreau is an ardent outdoors enthusiast and conservationist. He resides in Vancouver, Washington, with his wife, Karen, and continues to inspire excellence in sports medicine and healthcare leadership.
Dr. Emily Kahler

NeuroSport Clinical Practice Care Lead
Dr. Emily Kahler, originally from southern Maine, is an accomplished chiropractic physician and a dedicated leader in clinical practice at NeuroSport. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island, where she also showcased her athletic prowess as a collegiate field hockey player. Dr. Kahler then pursued her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, and is a licensed chiropractic physician.
She holds the prestigious title of Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP) and serves as a sports medicine provider for USA Fencing.
Dr. Kahler has spent the past few years working closely with Dr. Bill Moreau as a Clinical Fellow, dedicating her time to clinical research and teaching advanced clinical skills to final-year chiropractic students at the University of Western States, and providing exceptional patient care.
Leveraging her advanced skills and comprehensive knowledge, Dr. Kahler assists patients of all ages in enhancing their health, wellness, and overall well-being. She collaborates with Dr. Moreau and offers cutting-edge clinical care interventions for sports injuries, concussions, post-concussion syndrome, dysautonomia, and POTS.
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Kahler enjoys playing field hockey, traveling, baking, reading, and spending time with her two beloved cats, Walter and Edgar.

Dr. Micayla Batchlor

NeuroSport Chiropractor
Dr. Micayla Batchlor earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences with Honors Distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Western States. At UW-Madison, she showcased her athletic dedication and competitive spirit as a Division I track and cross-country athlete. Dr. Batchlor then obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating in Fall 2024.
During her chiropractic education, Dr. Batchlor worked closely with Dr. Bill Moreau, serving as his second student chiropractic assistant. This mentorship shaped her expertise in evidence-informed care, sports injury management, and treating conditions such as dysautonomia and POTS. She is certified in Basic Life Support and is pursuing her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) certification to further enhance her skills in sports medicine.
Dr. Batchlor’s academic curiosity has led to notable achievements, including earning an Honors in Research Distinction for her undergraduate thesis on the gut microbiome in ground squirrels. As a chiropractic student, she co-presented research at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference (ACC RAC) on Class IV Laser Therapy for post-surgical wound healing.
Her background as a caregiver for nursing home residents instilled profound empathy, while her two years teaching in under-resourced public schools with Teach for America refined her ability to connect with diverse populations. These experiences inspire her commitment to patient-centered care, treating every patient with the same attention typically reserved for elite athletes and empowering them to achieve their health goals.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Batchlor enjoys running, cross-country skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her spirited cats, Zen and Phillip.
Dr. Batchlor is thrilled to join NeuroSport as a first-year Clinical Fellow. She will contribute her passion and expertise to provide cutting-edge care while continuing to grow under exceptional mentorship.
Hannah Larson
NeuroSport Message Therapy
Hannah began her journey as a massage therapist in 2014 after graduating from Cortiva Institute in Federal Way. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience working in chiropractic offices and therapeutic massage clinics, honing her skills in both treatment and relaxation-focused massages. Her passion for helping others and her curiosity about the human body led her to further her education, and in 2019, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western Washington University.
Currently, Hannah is pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States, a path she began in 2023. While immersed in her studies, she continues to practice massage therapy at NeuroSport Spine and Concussion Center. Hannah specializes in a variety of modalities, including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Cupping, Trigger-Point Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal, Gua-Sha, Ashiatsu, and Neuromuscular Re-Education techniques. She combines her advanced education and hands-on experience to provide personalized care that supports her clients' healing and overall well-being.
Outside of work and school, Hannah enjoys a balanced and active lifestyle. She loves exploring the outdoors and spending time with her Husband, Malcolm and their dog, Skipper. Whether she’s cooking, baking, reading, practicing yoga, or seeking out new restaurants and weekend adventures, Hannah values moments that inspire joy and connection.
Alice Grenier
Office Manager
Alice brings over two decades of experience in chiropractic care, starting her career in 1999. For over 25 years, she served as the office manager at the University of Western States clinics, making her an invaluable asset to the Neurosport team.
Her extensive knowledge and experience are perfectly complemented by her compassion and empathy for patients. Whether you need help with scheduling, billing, or just a friendly chat, Alice is here to listen and assist. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels welcome and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors-or on the phone!
